Rules
The following is a list of general rules of behavior that you will be
expected to follow when you are here. If you have a disagreement with
ANY of them, type .quit now:

1. There is to be no cursing or foul language in any public rooms. What
you and another person do or say in a private room is solely your business
(except .shouts etc). This also extends to a person’s profile, a
person’s .desc, ANY user’s text setting, or any message board throughout the
talker even if access is set to private, it can still be read from any
room. LOGIN NAMES ALSO FALL INTO THIS CATEGORY.
2. Do not try to harrass another user, either out loud or via .tell. If
you are caught doing this, you will be either NEUTERed, thrown to the
Dungeon, or both. Harrassment has no place here.
3. The Staff members act as hosts, helping users with questions and
dealing with troublesome users so that everyone else can have an enjoyable
time here. They do NOT have delusions of grandeur because of their

position, but rather, take their jobs very seriously. DO NOT ask if *you*
can be made Staff. If you ask, you will never be considered. It’s that
simple. The lower Staff cannot promote users, so don’t even bother with
bugging them. We will decide who would make a good Staff member based on
our impressions and experiences with a prospective user.
4. Multiple accounts are a big no-no. We consider this to be nothing more
than deception and we will not tolerate it. Only 1 login name per person!
If you are caught possessing multiple accounts, we will delete all your
accounts. If you persist in having multiple accounts, your site will be
banned and THEN all your accounts will be deleted.
5. Spamming (filling the screen fairly quickly) is an annoyance and
frustrating to other users. It will not be permitted, as any other very
annoying activity will not be allowed.
6. Also, we request that you not add to the “talker wars” discussion. Every
talker is different, we all know that. But there is no reason for you to come
here and start going on about how “Jimbob’s talker sucks because…”. More
than likely we’ve heard the argument before and it’s getting old. Please do

your part to stop this kind of negative discussion.
7. The .recap command is there for your enjoyment. Do NOT use it in an
attempt to emphasize a part of your name that could be construed in a vulgar
or obscene way. An example might be: FUntraCK. You get the idea.
8. If you have a disagreement with any of these rules, you are invited to
ask to speak with a Viceroy/Queen to discuss them. Any public agitation or
confrontation with regards to policy will NOT be tolerated. The
Viceroy/Queen’s are open to discussing any concerns you have, but they
must be made in private.
9. Gangs and named groups are not welcome, not to be discussed and not
advertised for, either in profile, .desc, message boards, shouts or similar
forms of communication. This talker is intended to be enjoyable for all
users, and will not tolerate the politics usually associated with these
sorts of groups.
Sorry to have to spell everything out like that, but you’d be surprised
by how many people don’t understand what SHOULD be obvious stuff. Obviously

we can’t list out every standard of behavior that is or is not acceptable. If
a Staff member tells you something is unacceptable, whether or not is it
spelled out, it is NOT acceptable. One more thing to keep in mind: This is
NOT a democracy. We reserve the right to delete your account and ban your
site to prevent you from returning, if necessary.
